WHITNEY POINT, N.Y. — “Corn is a lot drier than would have been expected. We’re seeing from 61-79 percent moisture right now. That’s according to Janice Degni, an Extension educator with Cornell’s South Central New York Dairy and Field Crops Team, who appeared at a corn silage workshop earlier this month at Whittaker’s Farm.
